Moist Exposed Burn Ointment

DESCRIPTION:
Light yellow-brown ointment with sesame oil smell.
MAIN INGREDIENTS:
Radix Scutellaria, Cortex Phellodendri, Rhizoma Coptidis
FUNCTIONS AND INDICATIONS:
To clear away heat and toxic material, to relieve the pain and to promote regeneration. Treating burns, scalds, chemical burn caused by various reasons.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
For external use. Apply to wounds caused by burns, scalds chemical burns etc. at a thickness no more than 1mm and renew the ointment every 4-6 hours. Before the renewal, the residual ointment and liquefied products should be wiped off. Expose the wound for applying ointment.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
No adverse reaction has been reported.
PRECAUTIONS:
MEBO should be used with special care forpatient hypersensitive to sesame oil.

- Patients developing systemic signs derived from burn wounds should be treated under the supervision of doctors with rich experiences in moist exposed burn therapy.
- The high temperature in summer or repeated squeeze or impact may thin the ointment, which made no changes on therapeutic effect. When it occurs, immerse the top-screwed tube in boiled water for minutes. Then stand the ointment conversely, allow to cool till room temperature to return to normal.
