DESCRIPTION
METSEL® is indicated to assist the metabolism process of lipid, carbohydrate and protein. METSEL® is the combination of ubidecarenone and levocarnitine.
Ubidecarenone as an electron transport at beta-oxidation, in the mitochondrial matrix.
Levocarnitine is mediator of fatty acid / lipid across the mitochondrial matrix, without levocarnitine there is no lipid burning process.
Additional of folic acid acts as a cosubstrate in the remethylation cycle which may assist to lower serum homocystein levels.
Hyperhomocysteinemia may increases the risk of developing cerebro and cardiovascular diseases besides peripheral arterial diseases.
USAGE
METSEL® as a food supplement is indicated to maintain the healthy heart.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
- METSEL® is not recommended to used for pregnant / breastfed women and children.
- Patient treated by anticoagulant drug (coumadin / warfarin).
The usual dose is once daily of 1-2 caplets.
Store at room temperature 25°-30°C
